Magnesia Brick
Magnesia brick with periclase as the main phase (MgO≥95%, refractoriness ≥2000℃) offers outstanding resistance to basic slags and iron-oxide slag plus excellent high-temperature performance.
Basic magnesia bricks with strong basic-slag resistance for converters and cement kilns.
Magnesia bricks are basic refractories with strong alkaline-slag resistance, mainly for converters, EAFs, ladle slag lines and cement-kiln burning zones. The range includes MgO-C, magnesia-spinel and magnesia-chrome grades chosen by furnace type and slag chemistry.

Magnesia brick with periclase as the main phase (MgO≥95%, refractoriness ≥2000℃) offers outstanding resistance to basic slags and iron-oxide slag plus excellent high-temperature performance.

Magnesia-carbon brick bonds magnesia with graphite (MgO≥76%, C 14-18%, 1750℃ max). Carbon does not wet slag, giving exceptional slag-line erosion resistance and thermal-shock stability far better than burned magnesia brick.

Magnesia-alumina spinel brick (MgO≥88%, Al₂O₃ 6-10%) is a chrome-free, environmentally friendly alternative to magnesia-chrome. Thermal-shock stability ≥8 cycles, resistant to cement clinker and alkali condensation.

Magnesia-chrome brick (MgO≥60%, Cr₂O₃≥12%, refractoriness ≥1900℃) with magnesia-chromite spinel structure resists attack by high-temperature slags and melts with high hot strength and washout resistance.

Magnesia-calcium brick (MgO≥70%, CaO≥20%, refractoriness ≥1900℃) uses free CaO to absorb inclusions during refining, cleaning steel and improving cleanliness—the dedicated brick for refining ladles. For LF, VD and VOD ladle working linings and slag lines, and secondary refining ladle walls.
